What do all these things share? Jazz dance.

From the moment we can hear a beat we have an urge to move to it.  Our natural instinct is to dance.  Jazz offers dancers a popular, commercial and stylised form of expression that, in spite of a huge development and diversity over the last century, has always remained cool. Modern Theatre dance is a rhythmic dance style which originated in America before travelling to the rest of the world.  It is often seen on the stages of musical productions and is known for its theatrical qualities.  The style uses travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns which all need strength and flexibility. This is a highly energetic dance style.

Children love to emulate their idols and derive great pleasure from mastering popular routines and well known choreography.  The thrill of performance surges through dancers when they have taken on the steps and the execution of a slick routine is always an exciting spectacle to behold.
