DECEMBER 2012

NOVEMBER 2012

We are delighted to announce that the Guildford Theatre School Senior and Junior Singers were invited to form the choir adn take soloist roles in the Wintershall Nativity this year.  This wonderful production takes place both inside and around the Holly Barn Theatre at Wintershall, complete with shepherds and sheep, oxen, donkeys and the three wise men on horseback.  The Wintershall Nativity will ran from Wednesday 19th – Sunday 23rd December 2012.

A cast member commented that “it was a privilege and pleasure to perform with such a talented, gifted and able group. I so admired their quiet modesty and humility and they were a perfect joy and delight.”

Well done everyone. 10 performances over 5 days and to more than 5,000 thousand people! Fantastic work!

OCTOBER 2012

This Christmas the Godalming Theatre Group (GTG) are presenting the musical version of Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol and have invited the Guildford Theatre School Musical Theatre Infants to form the Angel Choir.  The performances run from Sunday 30th December 2012 to Saturday 5th January 2013 inclusive, at The Ben Travers Theatre, Charterhouse School, Godalming.

AUGUST 2012

Over 125 young people came together over three weeks at The Electric Theatre, Guildford as part of the Guildford Summer Youth Project 2012, to mount fully staged productions of Thoroughly Modern Millie Jr., Disney’s Jungle Book Kids and The Sound of Music under the guidance of our highly experienced professional team of directors, choreographers and musical directors.

JULY 2012

Following last year’s sell out sensation, the Guildford Theatre School return to The Electric Theatre with a musical celebration of the Olympic Games.  Celebrate and enjoy the Olympic spirit of endeavour and accomplishment through dance, singing and drama.

JUNE 2012

Our Junior and Senior Singing students will be providing the Show Choir for Guildford Youth Theatre’s production of Les Miserables School Edition at The Electric Theatre, Guildford on the 29th and 30th June.

JUNE 2012

Our Senior Drama students will be performing at the Ivy Arts Centre at the University of Surrey on Saturday 23rd June as part of the Surrey Youth Drama Festival 2012.

MAY 2012

We are absolutely delighted with this year’s outstanding Trinity Guildhall singing and drama examination results.  Well done everyone!

MARCH 2012

Our wonderful Singing, Drama and Musical Theatre Students are holding a Spring Concert at the beautiful listed Trinity Church to showcase their work for their forthcoming Trinity Guildhall exams.

FEBRUARY 2012

36 students joined us for Glee In A Day during Half Term as part of The Electric Theatre’s Family Festival 2012 to put on a show in a day!  A wonderful time  was had and a very slick performance was enjoyed by the performers and their families.
