Congratulations to Junior pupil Ava who is performing in this year’s Christmas pantomime Cinderella at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford and to fellow Junior student Juliette who is performing in Aladdin at the Theatre Royal, Windsor.

A huge thank you to all our lovely students who entered the annual Christmas Card competition.  Below is the winning entry by Senior student Isobel.


Congratulations to Junior pupil Keir, who is starring as the title role Charlie in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in London’s West End.

Well done to Senior pupils Jessica and Antonia for their respective 1st and 2nd places at the Woking Music Festival and to JoJo who performed for Bill Clinton and Barbra Streisand as part of the International Harp Ensemble’s tour to Washington DC!


Congratulations to Infant pupil Aeden who will be singing on the soundtrack of a forthcoming feature film.


This summer over 200 young people took part in one of our seven summer youth productions over five weeks in both Guildford, as part of the Guildford Summer Youth Theatre 2013, and in Belfast at the Summer Theatre School, supported by an amazing Guildford Theatre School team at The Electric Theatre, Guildford and the Theatre at the Mill, Newtownabbey.

JULY 2013

We are simply delighted with this year’s outstanding examination results.  80 pupils aged 4 and up were entered for Trinity Guildhall examination results in Acting and Musical Theatre and over 80% were awarded Distinctions or equivalent, with a quarter of those entered for Advanced examinations ranging from GCSE to final year of degree equivalent qualifications!

For a third year running, the talented students from the Guildford Theatre School return to The Electric Theatre with what is sure to be yet another sell-out sensation as they celebrate the silver screen through singing, dance and drama.

Congratulations to Junior pupil Ava who has been cast in the Christmas pantomime Cinderella at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford and to Infant pupil Lucy, who is on reserve!  Also a huge ‘break a leg’ to Senior pupil Tom who will be performing at the National Theatre in July.  We are very proud of you!

JUNE 2013

Once again our Senior Drama students will be returning to the stage of the Ivy Arts Centre at the University of Surrey on Saturday 22nd June to perform in the Surrey Youth Drama Festival 2013.

Congratulations to students Merida, Emily and Mishka who are starring in the childrens’ TV programme ‘Trade Your Way to the USA: Series 3′, airing on CBBC on Tuesday 23rd April, 4:30-5:00pm!

MARCH 2013

We are looking forward to our biggest and busiest examination session to date with students entering Musical Theatre and Drama examinations from Young Performers Awards up to Grade 8 and Licentiate level!


Congratulations to ex-Actor’s Studio student Jessica Amery on gaining a place at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama on the BA(Hons) Applied Theatre and Drama in Education course.  We are very proud of you.

We are also very excited for another ex-Actor’s Studio student, Maura Vinall, who is currently production assistant on ‘Waiting For Lefty’ at the White Bear Theatre, London and is a member of the National Youth Theatre.


Congratulations to Senior Drama and Singing student Tom who has been cast to perform with Without A Paddle Theatre Company in the Lost Festival at the Soho Theatre in the West End! We are very proud and excited!
